The Unalienable Rights - originals
Three framed oil on canvas paintings, each 24 x 48 inches. The edges of the canvases are painted, and each canvas is framed in a gold floater frame. The paintings are not offered individually but rather as a three-piece set.
"The Unalienable Rights" is a series of three paintings designed to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Each of the three paintings allegorically represents one of the Unalienable Rights.
The Art Nouveau style employed in the paintings was inspired by Alphonse Mucha, especially his depiction of the four seasons.
The series aims to encourage beholders of the art to consider what each of the Unalienable Rights means to them.
